AMA Film Productions is currently producing a short film titled ALONE.

Set in modern-day England, the film explores the challenges teenagers face in today’s fast-paced world. ALONE tells the story of a teenage boy whose world is suddenly turned upside down — a powerful, heartfelt drama inspired by a true story.

Told through the eyes of a teenager, with flashbacks to his childhood, it captures the moments that shape who we become, and the difficult choices we face when life stops feeling simple.

It can be hard to know whether a teenager’s behaviour is “normal” or a sign of something more troubling and a cause for concern.

 

Our vision for this project is to create a film that not only touches hearts but also offers comfort and connection — for teenagers going through difficult times, and for parents who may find it challenging to understand and support them, or even recognise that they are struggling and in need of help. Teenagers may ask to be left alone — but this film says: don’t.
